I’m New
The best place to start? Join us for service!
If you’re new to the area or just new to our church, we’d love to have you join us for Sunday Worship service. You’ll get a chance to see who we are, hear from our pastor and meet some new friendly faces.
Find a ministry that speaks to you.
Getting connected with one of our ministries can help you build your faith in a different way. Find one of our ministries that’s right for you or your family – whether it’s a men’s breakfast, youth program or our family connection (focused on young married couples or families), or giving back with our ambassador club – the right ministry can help you deepen your faith and connect with new people.
Get involved and give back.
If you feel called to give back to the church or the community, we want to help support you. Our salvation isn’t found through works but helping support the church and community can be a way to do good and give back. Look through some of our upcoming events and see if one stands out to you or contact us to help connect you with the right way to get involved.
Still feel like you have questions?
We know that coming to a new place can be a little intimidating and maybe you have some questions about what to expect. See some of these FAQ below that might answer your questions and put you at ease. Still have questions we haven’t answered? It’s ok, just reach out and ask.
What time does Sunday morning worship begin?
Our Sunday morning worship starts at 10:45am and runs until about 12pm. If you want to come early, we also offer Sunday School from 9:30am – 10:15am and Fellowship Time from 10:15am – 10:45am.
What can I expect during worship service?
During our morning service we typically follow the same structure each week. You can expect our service to start out with announcements and upcoming events, two to three songs, a scripture reading, prayer, an additional song, sermon and a closing song and closing prayer. The sermon is the majority of the time spent in service, typically 35-40 minutes. Occasionally, we’ll have a guest speaker like a missionary who will speak in place of our typical sermon.
What should I bring on Sunday?
If you have a Bible, bring it. Bring your family or a friend but most importantly bring an open mind and an open heart to hear what God has to share with you.
How can I stay up to date on things happening at the church?
One of the best ways to stay up to date is to sign up to receive our church emails, you can pick what type of emails make sense to you so you only see what’s relevant. Click here to go to the email sign up page.
Do you have devices for the hearing impaired?
Yes! There are several devices available in the lobby, grab one each week if you need it or ask a greeter for help locating one.
Do you hold communion?
Yes. We have open communion (the Lord’s Supper) once a quarter. It is open to all who are Christians. A Christian is anyone who has put his/her faith and trust in the death, burial, and resurrections of Jesus Christ for Salvation. It is neither a sacrament, an act of salvation or a merit gaining act but it is a symbolic reminder of of Christ’s death until He comes again.
Do you preach salvation by Grace and take the Bible literally?
Yes, we believe that God’s salvation is freely given, through grace, not through works.
God justifies ungodly sinners by His grace upon the ground of the blood of Christ through the means of faith. This complete salvation is bestowed as the free gift of God apart from man’s works (Romans 3:24-28, 5:1, 9; Ephesians 2:8, 9). All of the saved are eternally secure in Christ (Colossians 3:1-4; Philippians 1:6; Romans 8:1, 8:29-34, 8:38, 39; John 10:27-29; Ephesians 1:13,14). Read more in our Doctrinal Statement.
